I love this gelato shop and it is the only cafe that serves pistachio milk that I know of for a wonderful latte or cappuccino! Robyn is a lovely owner and mother of beautiful family and they always take great pride in their customer service… today Brianna and Andrew were a great duo and team. Exceptional gelato and coffee, homemade sandwiches for my lunch break I enjoy. Thanks cafe Del Mar! ♥️

Imad the owner was very hospitable and welcoming and i highly recommend getting the black cherry gelato and the matcha vanilla latte. Perfect after dinner treat. Street parking available

Andrew is absolutely amazing! He asks about your day and he genuinely cares! He made my girlfriend a special day with a slice of cake! The coffee is amazing!

This Italian café offers an excellent selection of pastries and ice creams. We tried the famous Pistachio Ricotta Cake, and I was taken aback by the $12 price tag for a slice. However, it was absolutely delicious - heavenly, in fact! I've never had such a flavorful cake that wasn't overly sweet. It was definitely worth it. We also had the mocha, which was just average. Service was slow and the space felt a bit cramped for the number of customers.

I wandered into Cafe Dal Mare looking for a mocha and walked out questioning whether I’d been drinking mediocre mochas my entire life. Their oat milk mocha was one of the finest I’ve ever had. The chocolate tasted deep and authentic, not the overly sweet, syrup-laden flavor I’d been conditioned to think was a good mocha. The espresso was beautifully restrained, present without overpowering the drink, while the oat milk brought everything together into one seamless cup. It finished with subtle roasted notes that lingered just long enough to invite another sip. Before I even ordered, I was warmly welcomed by a gentleman who looked as though he had stepped out of a small neighborhood café somewhere along the Mediterranean. Dressed in a burgundy cable-knit sweater with polished loafers, a tasteful European watch, silver hair, expressive eyes, and a warm Mediterranean accent, he carried himself with the kind of old-world hospitality that immediately made me feel at ease. After my first sip, he caught my expression and gave me a knowing smile. He didn’t have to ask how it was. He already knew. Throughout my visit, I noticed the little things. I watched him quietly offer wipes to a mother with a young child without being asked. There was no performance to it, just genuine attentiveness and care. As I was preparing to leave, he came over, sat beside me, and struck up a conversation. I told him it was one of the most delicious mochas I’d ever had, and he thanked me with genuine gratitude. Before we parted, I thanked him for his kindness. It was such a simple exchange, but somehow it encapsulated the entire experience. Cafe Dal Mare doesn’t rely on trendy aesthetics or sugar-heavy drinks to make an impression. It does so through craftsmanship, sincere hospitality, and quiet confidence. In a world where so many cafés feel designed for social media, this one simply feels designed for people. I’ll remember that mocha, but I’ll remember the kindness even more. I can’t wait

This Café is great. The coffee is amazing, the pastries never dissapoint. They also have a vegan gelato options and sorbet that my kid is really into.

Best Cannoli I've had in California all up and down the state. Such incredible detail and simplicity to their cream and shell. I must've had 8 in the course of two days they were so good. We also took a box of em when we left town too. I would drive from Los Angeles to Carmel just for these Cannoli again. This is a non-negotiable.

Such a wonderful family-owned coffee shop! Great coffee, delicious pastries, and warm, welcoming service. You can feel the care and pride they put into their business. We’ll definitely be back!

We came across Cafe Dal Mare while exploring Carmel. We tried their popular Pistachio Ricotta cake, which was delicious with just the right amount of sweetness, though it was a bit expensive. We also tried the cannoli, but it was a bit underwhelming.

Loved The drink it was so delicious. I would totally recommend. The Recommend Sweetener. They are really quick and fast. The inside was very green and welcoming. And the service was really quick and fast even if they are packed. The workers were really nice and doing the best to explain everything to you. I would totally recommend this place any day!
